The National Safety Council recently released a report claiming that traffic deaths have been 14% higher during the first six months of 2015 than they were the during the same period last year.

You’ve probably heard a lot about the new and improved technologies out there that are making our cars safer than ever before. You’d think that these new technologies like back-up cameras, parking and sideview assists, reverse backup sensors, and many more, that the number of traffic fatalities would be reduced. However, that is unfortunately not the case. The National Safety Council recently released a report claiming that traffic deaths have been 14% higher during the first six months of 2015 than they were the during the same period last year. This is the highest rate of traffic deaths the United States has seen since 2007. (more…)
